Enlightenment DR 17 is a next-generation window manager for UNIX operating systems. It is currently in a pre-alpha stage and is under heavy development. A fairly large community already uses the development version from CVS on a daily basis though. Note that E17 is not officially supported at this stage, but people are free to try it out of course, but the standard disclaimers for pre-alpha software apply.

We're trying to keep all content up to date, but sometimes we may not be able to keep up with the E17 development - some content may be outdated every now and then. Please take a look around and enjoy the stay.

GET-E.org Staff Update: Co-Maintainer 'devilhorns' leaving - Brian 'morlenxus' Miculcy [All my articles] (Fri, 11 Apr 2008 19:25:39 +0100)

Christopher 'devilhorns' Michael is leaving GET-E.org and also the whole e project because of missing time windows. He's really busy with work stuff.
He was active from 2005-09-23 to 2008-04-11: During that time he did a great rewrite of the user guide and was responsible together with me for the whole user related content.
As an enlightenment developer he wrote a lot of improvements for e, for example the efm toolbar. He also created a few very nice modules (echo, net, cpu, ...).

Thanks for the long period we could work together, dude! :)
