Welcome to Get-E.org
Enlightenment DR 17 is a next-generation window manager for UNIX operating systems. It is currently in a pre-alpha stage and is under heavy development. A fairly large community already uses the development version from CVS on a daily basis though. Note that E17 is not officially supported at this stage, but people are free to try it out of course, but the standard disclaimers for pre-alpha software apply.

We're trying to keep all content up to date, but sometimes we may not be able to keep up with the E17 development - some content may be outdated every now and then. Please take a look around and enjoy the stay.

New animated background and Japan2007 update, cvs update - Brian 'morlenxus' Miculcy [All my articles] (Sat, 21 Jan 2006 01:19:30 +0000)
Hello all, i'm back at home (was working in a different city for three days). Sorry for the delay, submitters.
Here are the updates:
- Jose 'Veoduendes' D. Abad submitted a nice animated background, it plays an animation after a short time. Really nice!
- Jonathan 'vandango' Naumann and Friedrich 'phriedrich' Preuss released a new version of the Japan2007 theme: 0.9.4. The theme should be almost complete now.
- There is also an interesting cvs update: The e17 module 'itray' has been committed to cvs and should act as a systray. Be aware, the module could be buggy!
- As you will notice i added a short info to two third part submissions: Japan2007 theme and Rocks background. The info Licence Violation! is a short hint, that the author has used an incorrect licence for this theme or background, because a third part component breaks it. This could be an included font, which has for example the gpl licence (infects the whole theme) or a part with an unknown licence.
