Welcome to Get-E.org
Enlightenment DR 17 is a next-generation window manager for UNIX operating systems. It is currently in a pre-alpha stage and is under heavy development. A fairly large community already uses the development version from CVS on a daily basis though. Note that E17 is not officially supported at this stage, but people are free to try it out of course, but the standard disclaimers for pre-alpha software apply.

We're trying to keep all content up to date, but sometimes we may not be able to keep up with the E17 development - some content may be outdated every now and then. Please take a look around and enjoy the stay.

Today I have released two new modules, screenshot and mount.
The screenshot module is used to take screenshots of your sparkling E
desktop ! It currently uses either import or scrot to take the shots. A
limited number of options has been implemented for each (import and
scrot) with more options coming. Clicking the module will take your
screenshot using the options you have setup. All screenshots are saved
to the users home directory.
The mount module is used to mount additional devices.
Currently implemented devices include cdroms, cd burners, dvds, floppy
drives, hard-disks, network mounts, and usb devices. Please see the
enclosed README for details on how to setup your /etc/fstab before
using this module. Clicking on an icon will mount/unmount that device.
