Enlightenment DR 17 is a next-generation window manager for UNIX operating systems. It is currently in a pre-alpha stage and is under heavy development. A fairly large community already uses the development version from CVS on a daily basis though. Note that E17 is not officially supported at this stage, but people are free to try it out of course, but the standard disclaimers for pre-alpha software apply.

As you probably noticed, we have changed the background and themes
sections a bit. There is now more information about the theme, like
font copyright, author and licence. This should help you to get the
information you need as fast as possible.
Also we changed the frontpage and removed the newest theme and
background. We added a welcome text and an enlightenment kanji, which
fits better to the look and feel of the site. Hope you like it.
