Philosophic
All humans fail;
both in the big thing and the tiny thing, we fail all time.
Machines are faulty, too.
Computers are machines, managed by humans,
and the result of a failure can be spectacular.
Their responsibility is to deal with the failure,
to anticipate and obviate it,
as far as it is reasonable in a human and economical sense.
Do you act as a part of the problem or a part of the solution?
